Imitation In Jesus, Saviour
Today, as we continue the countdown in our Advent Feast Celebrations, to Advent Sunday, I am divinely led to bring you a special word of hope, trust, and assurance. This word of explanation and understanding is specifically sent for all of us who are being made to see ourselves as hopelessly and helplessly disabled, to be true imitators of the Jesus whom we truly and dearly love.
This living, active word has come to steel us against the temptations of the evil, wicked, mimicking deceiver, who will break our feasting in Jesus, to a fast of down-spirited believers.
Praise God for His timeliness, He who is the Potentate of all time.
Relax, be free to listen to this well-known Bible verse. Listen as new wineskins, not as the old you. Listen with responses which only imitate and follow the real.
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. Romans 5: 19
With the one man, Adam, there was disobedience. With the one man Adam, the many were made sinners. You and I were made sinners, not by any disobedience of ours, but the disobedience of Adam, God’s first created man. Listen carefully to this fact about you and sin. You did absolutely nothing to be made a sinner. It was solely and singly because of the one man Adam. It was because you were made a sinner, with the sinful nature, given by Adam, that you sin and can’t help but sin. You imitate Adam in sin, because sin is your given nature. Adam’s nature, which is sin, dwells in you.
We are sinners because of Adam. In other words, if there was no Adam, there would be no sinners. We were made sinners and continued in that given sinful nature, to imitate and live like Adam. Our imitation of Adam is only possible when his nature lives and moves and has its very being in us.
In exactly the same manner, with the one Man, Jesus, there was obedience. With the one Man Jesus, the many will be made righteous. You and I will be made righteous, not by any obedience of ours, but the obedience of Jesus, God’s first and only Begotten Son. Listen carefully to this fact about you and righteousness. You did absolutely nothing to be made righteous. It was solely and singly because of the one Man Jesus. It was because you were made righteous, with the divine nature, given by Jesus, that you obey and can’t help but obey. You imitate Jesus in righteousness, because righteousness is your given nature. Jesus’ nature, which is Divine, dwells in you.
We are made righteous because of Jesus. In other words, if there was no Jesus, there would be no righteous. When we are made righteous in Jesus, receiving His new nature, we then can continue in that given righteous nature to imitate and live like Jesus. Our imitation of Jesus is only possible when He lives and moves and has His very Being in us.
I ask you most excitedly. Is this not hopeful news? Is this not news for feasting in Saviour Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. Matthew 1: 21b.
Steeled and grounded by God, the Holy Spirit, we move on resolutely in faith.
