The Oneness Of God

We look forward to spending this entire time in the Oneness of the Holy Triune God, through the hymn by Mr. Charles Wesley. My God I Know, I feel Thee Mine. I confess that the hymn has a dozen verses, but for our meditation a third of them has been chosen for our celebration, inspiration and dedication of Trinity in Oneness.
My God! I know, I feel Thee mine,
And will not quit my claim,
Till all I have is lost in Thine,
And all renewed I am.
Like Charles, we begin making claim to God, as mine. Yes, He is God of all, but to be able to address Him and claim Him as, My God, means that I do know Him as mine. God wants us to know Him personally as His children. Has not Jesus taught us boldly in prayer, to begin with this unconditional claim to His unconditional Love? Is this not the Love of a Father who wants us to know that we are His and therefore tells us that we can come to Him and address Him as, Our Father, who art in heaven? Let us be unswerving, stubborn and fixed in our claim that we know, feel and exude in all we are and all we do, the Father-ship of God. God is bold to always claim us as His children, and we ought to be bold to always claim Him as our Father.
Jesus, thine all-victorious love
Shed in my heart abroad!
Then shall my feet no longer rove,
Rooted and fixed in God.
We continue, through our Father to make claim to Jesus, God the Son, for to see and know the Father is to see and know the Son. Is this not what Jesus has so rightfully and truthfully told all who believe in Him? The Love of the Father is made humanly visible in the Son, whose love has been shed abroad in our hearts. Love that conquers us, and drives away our sins is Love that stays our feet, so that we no longer want to rove and roam like disagreeable, truant, prodigal children.
Oh, that in me the sacred fire
Might now begin to glow,
Burn up the dross of base desire,
And make the mountains flow!
Having the assurance that we know and also feel God as our Heavenly Father whom, through His Love we have received the saving, all-victorious Love of Jesus, we come to the Holy Ghost. It is precisely because we can boldly lay claim to God the Father and God the Son that we too can look to God the Holy Ghost. Our longing, our hoping, our seeking is that the Sacred Fire will begin to glow brightly in us. It is through that Sacred, Holy, All-powerful Fire that our carnal desires and will be consumed and even more rejoicing, in mountains of Love, will begin to flow ceaselessly.
Oh, that it now from heaven might fall,
And all my sins consume!
Come, Holy Ghost, for thee I call,
Spirit of burning, come!
We conclude today’s, Trinity in Oneness meditation, personally asking Father God, our Heavenly Father to whom we pray, for the Fire Baptism of Jesus, to fall on us.
