Testimony Of Fact

Yesterday, we were told and shown the central powerful light, The Trinity of Fact, which stands prominently in the middle of our seven-branched candelabra verse. Also brought to our attention was the convincing proof of the Power and Authority of our Triune God, in using just a part, one verse of the whole chapter, to do His bidding. Indeed, one verse testified to the truth of God’s unmatched power. 

Today, we continue with the second revealed word, as we delight to feast more on the Testimony of Fact about our Invisible, Unseen God, making Himself seen and most visible in simple, ordinary human beings just like you. Our receiving is on the fact that just as God the Holy Spirit is using one verse out of fifty-two verses, to bring great riches to us, this power of God to choose one and use one, is no secret throughout His infallible Word. Here are three undeniable testimonies to move us on in faith, as our God is openly present before us and within us.

One nation, Israel, under God as Sovereign, went into the land of Canaan and drove out people who were as giants to them. When the LORD your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you, and when the LORD your God delivers them over to you, you shall conquer them and utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them. Deuteronomy 7: 1 – 2. One nation, the weakest of those other seven nations, is able to conquer all the other nations, stronger than themselves, because of God’s Hand, fighting for them.

Maybe you belong to a group, a nation, a church, a family even, facing formidable competition. Admit that you are no match for them and then admit that they are no match for your Sovereign God and King. Keep your eyes and ears attuned to God. He is fighting for you, ensuring that you are more than conquerors with Him and in Him.

Be an undisputed witness of this Testimony of Fact in your life, that indeed the Invisible God is mightily seen in you, in His power to make the humanly impossible possible. 

Here is another undisputed and unarguable Testimony of Fact. One disciple, Philip, filled with the Holy Spirit, went into Samaria and brought the Good News of Jesus to the people there, making a world of joyful difference. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. Acts 8: 6. Great joy came into the city to many, for Jesus came into the hearts of many in that place called Samaria, by one man, whose faith was in his Lord and Master, Jesus, nothing else and none else.

Perhaps you see yourself as only one servant of Jesus and not one of the top ones either. Nevertheless, if you give the Holy Spirit free reign in you, if your faith is jealously fixed on Jesus your Master, you will see the impossible made flesh in you, as one individual. 

Be an unarguable witness of this Testimony of Fact in your life, that indeed the Unseen God is easily seen in you, in His might, to make the humanly impossible, possible. 

We close today’s receiving with this well-known undisputed, unarguable and undeniable Testimony of Fact. One woman, a non-Jew from Syro-Phoenicia, lived the Gospel truth of Jesus being Saviour of the whole world, in her own words and way. This woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. Mark 7: 26. In spite of Jesus’ responses to, or maybe we should say, because of Jesus’ responses to her, she shone brighter in simple, child-like faith. Regardless of how Jesus spoke to her, the fact was that she simply refused to move from her belief in Him being willing and able to help her in her dire need. One woman, not even a Jew, with simple faith, stubbornly puts all her faith and trust in Jesus. What an example! What a picture to emulate! Who but our Lord could bring out from that Gentile woman, the deeply pleasing faith that was embedded in her? 

You have, no doubt, experienced such times in prayer. Instead of getting all into yourself, saying erroneous things about God not answering, don’t ever turn away from Him. The fact is that our lives must show the testimony of true faith, when faith is tested by our Lord. The test of our faith is to show our unshakable, unmoved, stubborn faith and trust in God, to accomplish what we have asked for. This is what makes our Heavenly Father happy. This is what lets us hear these words from Jesus’ lips. For this saying go your way: the demon has gone out of your daughter Mark 7: 29b.

Faith that stubbornly relies on God, still wins the day, regardless of the situation or circumstance. Faith in God never fails you nor disappoints you. One faith response to Jesus, in a time of testing, is given prominence and honoured by Him.
