Sweet Injuries - Glorious Saturday

Sweet injuries, have come to our stunned minds and pierced hearts, leaving us aghast at how we have been so deceived about ourselves, in our silent actions about Jesus, which are totally hostile to Him.

Jesus is the Word made flesh, the Living, Active and very Present Word. He, who is the Word, speaks words to us and if we do not, by faith, receive His words, we make ourselves His enemies. I say this, for to refuse Jesus’ words, is to refuse Jesus, the Word.

My prayer to our Father God is that the Holy Spirit may convict us in these matters, so that we will know repentance and bear its timely fruit. Lord! In Your mercy! Please hear this prayer. Amen!

To deny who Jesus really is, His Deity, is to try to assassinate Him, as we seek to throw His words out, as the worshipping Jews sought to throw Jesus over the hill.

To disbelieve the truth of Jesus, to renounce the grace of Jesus, is to speak disparagingly about Him, as we noted with Simon the Pharisee, who held up the letter of the law, before the spirit of the law.

To desecrate the works of Jesus, is to be and do as the scribes did, when they said that He has Beelzebub, and By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons. Mark 3: 22b. Are we desecrating the works of Jesus with unjust pronouncements, unfounded confessions, ignorant chatter and unwholesome accusations?

To denounce the Way of Jesus is to turn one’s back on what He tells us to do, when it does not suit our carnal, earthly lifestyles. Is this not the perfect example? Jesus told a very rich young ruler to do something, in order to inherit eternal life. However, the rich man turned his back on what Jesus told him to do. He was sad at this word and went away grieved, for he had great possessions. Mark 10: 22. On what words and commands of Jesus are we turning our backs?

It's dismal, it's dark; Jesus is dead!
Now with hell’s dwellers He lays His head.
But wait! He’s not staying there for long!
Begin to write Him, a Resurrection Song.
Hallelujah!

What? What evil has our Jesus done?
