Love has conquered! Jesus is alive,
Nothing of sin’s powers have survived,
Even the sting of death is no more,
Jesus is alive forevermore!
He arose! He lives! No more to die,
Love overcomes! ‘Tis the Victor’s cry.
It is Resurrection Sunday or Easter Sunday as is named by many. In many parts of the world, believers are celebrating the Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Although people are different, cultures are different and celebrations are different, all of us who name the name of Christian, stand on one undeniable and unshakable belief. Jesus died and He rose again.
Jesus, He who came down from heaven, to save a world of sin, completed all the work He needed to do in the flesh, to save all humankind from death. He became our propitiation and suffered and died on the accursed tree for you and for me.

What Love! What Inexplicable Love! In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4: 10

What Love! What Inextinguishable Love! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3: 16

What Love! What Inexhaustible Love! Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31: 3b

What Love! What Inextricable Love! For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 38 – 39

What Love! What Inexpressible Love! Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3: 1a.
On this Resurrection Sunday, Love has really conquered and we rejoice in our Saviour, Jesus. We rejoice because His Love is the Greatest. We are jubilant because His Love is the Best. We rejoice even more because He loves you and me with that same conquering Love. What sweet Love! What a sweet Name, Jesus.
For the rest of this Resurrection Week, we shall rejoice in the Sweet Name of Jesus, in all its Splendour, Glory and Honour.
