Power In Jesus

As promised, we are touching on the power in Jesus’ Blood, His Words, His Hand and His very Body.

There is Power in the Blood of Jesus. When Jesus spoke of His Blood, He offered it saying, For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26: 28. There is Power in the Blood of Jesus to forgive sins.

There is Power in the Words of Jesus. Listen to Him speak to a healthy, thriving, leafy fig tree that provided Him with no fruit.  In response, Jesus said to it, Let no one eat fruit from you ever again. Mark 11: 14a. By the next morning the fig tree was withered, dead from its roots. There is Power in the Word of Jesus to end life and to give life.

There is Power in the Hand of Jesus. Jesus has just descended the mountain and great crowds followed Him. Among the people is a leper who comes up, worships Jesus and asks for His healing. Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed. Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8: 3. There is Power in the Touch of Jesus to heal. 

There is Power in the Body of Jesus. Jesus is travelling along the road with multitudes pressing and crowding Him. Suddenly He calls out, Who touched Me? Peter, who is next to Jesus, asks Him how He could ask such a question, when people have been pressing against Him and crowding Him all the time. But Jesus said, Somebody touched Me, for I perceive power going out of Me. Luke 8: 46. As soon as that woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and was immediately healed, Jesus felt power leave His Body. There is Power in the Body of Jesus, to bring healing, just by touching the edge of His garment

There’s much more to be cited, but these are sufficient for us just now, to help us to be ever mindful that Jesus is All-powerful.

As stated previously, our main focus is on the Name of Jesus, and the power there is in His Name. As you continue with all that has been provided for us, my prayer is that all who do not know the power there is in the Name of Jesus, will be brought to its reality in them. For those who know about this power, may you come to discover Jesus’ power in deeper depths and wider span. There’s unlimited power in the Name of Jesus.

Acknowledgement was given earlier, to the fact of many publications, in various forms, which pay powerful, glowing tributes to the power to be found in the Name of Jesus. What does Jesus Himself speak about His Name? We shall seek to be reintroduced to, remarried to and reinstated to truths, which have become a mere matter of shadows for many of us, in our daily Christian living. I’m deliberately and specifically targeting the Lord’s children, as did Zechariah. Remember, this is all because our Lord dearly loves all His children and does not delight in anyone of us being away from Him. Our God wants us living all the bounty that we have been given in the Name of Jesus. Like a loaded weapon in our hands is no use to us before an attacking enemy, if we do not pull the trigger, so too with the Name of Jesus. If we do not exercise faith, how do we expect to know the wonderful, unending rich flow of absolute riches to be found in Jesus?

How much of it are you receiving? I guarantee you that when you begin to receive beyond your wildest dreams, you will give all you have, to receive more.
