Love That Is Sincere

We concluded yesterday’s meditation being reminded that we need to cling to Jesus, who is Good and who does Good. We know, without an iota of hesitation, doubt or superstition that there is no hypocrisy whatsoever in Jesus. It stands to reason then, when we cling to Him, we are clinging to genuine love. We are feeding on true love and we will bear the fruit of genuine, real unpretentious love.
As has already been stated, sincere love, love minus adulteration, dissimulation, divisiveness and pretence, is love that is not hypocritical. It is God’s Love. There is no question about it and there are no adjustments and accommodations to be made for it. There is certainly no kind of tweaking where such perfect love is concerned.
Here are some unsearchable, incomprehensible and fully attainable truths about God’s Love, as spoken of in His infallible Word.
God’s Love is: -
Everlasting Love: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31: 3b. O what Love everlasting is mine! Teach me to respond to You, Lord, and to others, with Your everlasting Love. Amen!
Effectual Love: Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. Lamentations 3: 22 NIV. O what Love that never ever fails! Teach me to appreciate at all times, the unconditional effectiveness of Your love, to do all that it says it can accomplish in me. Amen!
Endearing Love: Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3: 1a. O what wonderfully inclusive, condescending Love. Love which stoops to the lowest to make me Love’s child. Teach me unceasing gratitude and unwavering thankfulness for such endearing love that I may be compelled to offer the same love to others. Amen!
Enduring Love: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 38 – 39. O what unconquerable, irremovable, stubbornly ensuring Love! Teach me in faith which clings to such Love, knowing without question or doubt that I am forever safe and secure in Jesus. Let me be free to love others, as You love me, O Lord. Amen!
The Love which you have received from God is Love without even a trace of hypocrisy in taste, smell, feel, sight or sound. It is Love worth receiving, keeping and emulating. Remain in Jesus and you are guaranteed, to receive love and give love minus hypocrisy, abhor evil in every form and fashion, and cling only to what is good. Believe and live God’s Love, for this is all attainable and perfectly true for you, through the Holy Spirit, even in this day and time.
For the remaining two days, however, our mission will be to pick to pieces, if you like, the life of a most interesting man, and how his love for what he did was without, pretension, dissimilation, hypocrisy and deception. He was not fake in any way.
We shall be looking at the man called Saul, with keener eye.
