God Is Timely

Praise God for this hour of welcome,
As He calls us into His Kingdom,
His place of worship, His time of praise,
In response to Him, our hearts we raise.
Praise God for mercies renewed each morn,
Without Him we will not know a dawn,
Hope will be futile, yes all in vain,
Making a mockery of each refrain.
On this precious, privileged first day of a brand new week, we cannot but give God praise for who He is and all that He is doing in His wisdom and way. Today, whatever today is for you, whether it is morning, noon, night or in-between, God has chosen to give this moment to you and He is never wrong in His decisions. Our Heavenly Father, Sovereign God, speaks what is infallible and His works are without fault. Our Father in heaven does not stay far away from us for He is near us, with us, and in us, through His ever present Holy Spirit.
Remember, it is our Father in Heaven who deigned to come, in Jesus, Immanuel, God with us. It is God incarnate who left heaven and came to us, in frail human flesh, born of a virgin. It was all done in God’s perfect timing and in His preferred way. This is what we are told in Galatians 4: 4 – 5. But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of son. God did it all, planned it all and worked it all out without mistake.
God’s timing is not fathomed by human calculations, extrapolations nor observations. God is Supreme Creator and Ruler and He does not need our approval nor advice, in doing His will and desire.
Ecclesiastes 8: 5 - 6, wisely informs us of this. Whoever obeys his commands will come to no harm and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure. For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a man’s misery lays heavy upon him.
We praise God and give Him unending thanks for His timeliness. We know that our Heavenly Father and Lord is faithful and we bow always at His faithfulness. Be it known therefore, in His unfailing faithfulness is our Lord's unfeigned timeliness.
This week we shall be receiving Timely Words about Jesus and you.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for what we shall receive from this most timely Word. Grant us surrendered, receptive hearts and minds, as we denounce all of self, to receive all of You, in Your Living Word. Amen!
