Earthly Angels Mightily Used

We have come to this receiving, with our countenance brightly illuminated and with unalterable assurance that God is with us in His present angels.

As we carry on from yesterday, we now look at the Wisdom and Power of God. God’s wisdom is never human wisdom. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55: 9. God’s Power is all-surpassing. God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God. Psalm 62: 11.

It is this Almighty Wisdom and Power, demonstrated in His children’s lives at this most crippling moment, that is being shown again to us. This is being done to show each of us that even in our dreadful, crippling, utter helplessness and fast dying hope of ever receiving our required help, God has His heavenly angel and His human angel with us. O my dear friends, believe! Just believe! God is LORD!

Look again! Listen again! Indeed, you know this story well, but never too well. The raging un-crossable Red Sea is before them and God, in His unmatched wisdom, chooses to use, not His heavenly angel, with all his supernatural power and authority, but God chooses to use His earthly angel to work a miracle of miracles, for all to see. In other words, the earthly vehicle that was carrying the Lord’s people to their destined place, had come to a point where he could take them no further. With a camp–full of terrified and blaming people, Moses himself, this earthly angel, cries out to God in weakness and helplessness. Think of it, that heavenly angel, or servant, who was present would not have had to suffer that human weakness of flesh.

Behold our Lord God’s Power and Wisdom! God speaks to His earthly angel. Why are you crying out to me?  God has stopped His earthly servant from coming to Him in prayer and sends him to go and do God’s work. What are you seeing? There are times when, although God’s heavenly angel is present, God chooses to do a mighty work through the earthly angel. In God’s undeniable wisdom, infallible reasoning and perfect plans, He chose to use the human angel. Like Moses, we too, with our present sight-blocking worry, anxiety and mind-affecting concerns, keep looking for heavenly help, and do not give God the freedom to Rule in His own Kingdom. We are pushed and intimidated by fears and anxieties, to only see heavenly help, blinded and blocked from remembering that earthly angels have also been given by God and sent by God. We want some heavenly message from a heavenly being, while God has chosen to send His heavenly message, coming from an earthly being.

Oh yes! We must pause here, with a thump of a pause at that, for this is the precise reason why Jesus was so brutally killed. A light has just been unceremoniously lit up and charged up in me. God sent His One and Only Begotten Son, to be His heavenly Message, but people of law, religious people of law, whose understanding of God’s law was all faulty, warped and erroneous, saw only humanity in Jesus and said that He could never be of Divine stock. He could never be Messiah.

Here is a fact for us. God is the Great, I AM God and He has both earthly and heavenly angels, with us. Call them messengers, servants or what you may, they are the vehicles our Lord has chosen for us. Never put down or underestimate the earthly servant whom Sovereign God has given to lead us to His place of Promise. There is always a Red Sea Crossing and God still delights to use His earthly angel to perform His mighty miracle of preparing a way, from no way!

May your faith, big or small, weak or strong, allow you to fall prostrate under these words, being spoken in the depth of the recesses of your mind and heart that you may rise, victoriously persuaded and resolute in your whole being, to see God’s perfect wisdom and power in His human angels here on earth. 

Lord, forgive me please for I have been wanting, and even looking for some heavenly angel to take me, take us over our Red Sea, path. O Lord, this hour You have granted me wisdom and understanding to know that it is You we must look to, not just the angel we think is needed. You are Lord of earthly and heavenly angels.

Forgive, us Lord for we are so afraid of what we are seeing. We are so afraid for ourselves and our people. We are so afraid, for this no-win predicament has us all bent out of shape, sick, crippled and becoming more and more laid up.

Forgive us that we cry out against Your paths. In Your deep mercy, and loving kindness, forgive us and remove our fears please. Amen!

And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant. Exodus 14: 31.
