Compelled To Worship
On this final Lord’s Day Sunday, in the tenth month of a steadily declining year, we have been given the time and opportunity in this moment of time, to turn our minds and hearts on our Heavenly Father. He is God, the One I AM and it is with grateful hearts and submissive minds that we come before our God.
How can we honour and adore Him! How can we praise and magnify His Holy Name! How can we, mere mortals, lift our feeble hearts and hands to Him, who is Almighty, King of Kings and Lord of Lords! When our minds think of our God, even in our very limited states, we cannot but exclaim in wonder, awe and total stupor, these words. How can we truly worship Him!
In this precious moment, I am moved to simply roll off, picture after picture, word after word, song after song, just magnifying the hallowed Name of our Father in heaven. May this be a blessed moment of extra special worship with our God, and to our Lord, through His Holy Spirit working in us. May we be so removed from ourselves, so dead to us that the pure, fresh breath of communion with God, will be as no other time with Him. May our lives respond with unhindered praise, love, thanks and such unsurpassed hope and peace, we will shine the brightly glowing light and love of God, everywhere we are.
Recently, one of my sisters, who lives in Fort Erie, Canada, knowing how I simply love to see Mother Nature in her fall outfits, sent me some pictures. She and her husband were going to visit another sister and on that five hour journey, she took picture after picture of the massive country side in all its fall colours. Just seeing those pictures, warmed my heart, spontaneously bringing out more and more praise and thanks to our Great Creator. These were not dead, still photographs, for every single one of them came to life in me. Every single one, from whichever angle it was snapped, was perfect to bring the Creator of all the earth before me, so that I could not but forget all, and lift His Name higher and higher.
I now invite you to view these pictures of God, which He has offered to us, through His infallible and spirit-engendered, living Word. These have all been given by His servants.
Although I was not present, in the flesh, to see all that my sister was seeing and experiencing on that day, I was more than happy, excited and delighted, to receive, but a taste of what she was receiving. Not only that, but it brought hope and resolve to my heart and mind that I too, could leave where I am, and go to where I will see, with my own eyes, these specific nature scenes.
This is my prayer for all like me, who long to know our God and Heavenly Father, as these, His servants, have revealed Him to us. May we be so moved, so inspired, so compelled by what they have seen, known and lived, that we have no choice but to freely and willingly leave where we are, to be where we too will see, hear and know, with our own beings, these specific spiritual scenes.
Remember, these pictures, songs or words, are being reeled out to us carte blanche.
