Jesus Lives! But Where?

On this Lord’s Day Sunday, we come ever mindful that Jesus has not just risen from the dead but He is with us all the time.
In conversation with a sister in Christ, I was told of the responses of some of her friends to the talk that Jesus is no ghost and that He was raised as a human body, with flesh and bones.
It made me think more about it, asking myself some tough questions. If I believe that Jesus is here with us in human body, then where is He? We believe that Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. This is well documented in all the Gospels. Here is documentation from each of them.
Matthew 26: 63 - 64. The high priest said to him, I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God. You have said so, Jesus replied. But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.
Mark 16: 19. After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.
Luke 22: 69. But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.
John 20: 17. Jesus said, Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.
These have come to you, with one aim, and it is to have you stop a while and seriously think about who Jesus is to you, since He has been risen from the dead.
By all that we have just read about Jesus ascending into heaven and being with His Heavenly Father, and all the other scripture passages that you know, confirming this truth, where are you? I mean, where are you in your belief or understanding of Jesus being flesh and bones?
We believe that Jesus is here with us in the Holy Spirit. We believe that He dwells in Spirit in you and you are flesh and bones. Do you really realize that Jesus is no ghost and that He is flesh and bones, because you are flesh and bones? Seriously note these truths and do not be in any way deceived.
You, however; are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8: 9
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8: 11 KJV
Jesus lives in every person who is indwelt by the Spirit, so that they no longer live, but Jesus Himself lives and has His very being in them. While I was being taught in this fashion, my mind was taken back to the words of Peter to the crippled beggar. When the beggar asked Peter and John for help, Peter boldly told him, Look at us! Acts 3: 4b. To look at these flesh and bones, Spirit-indwelt servants of the Risen Lord was to look at Jesus Himself. Wasn’t it Jesus and the Name of Jesus that had given that complete healing to the beggar, as they all could see? Are you able to tell another person who is in need of Jesus’ help, look at me! For you know they are not seeing you, but Jesus in you? Hmmm!
