Why Are You Bending?

Why are you troubled, why are you distraught?

Have you forgotten all that you’ve been taught?

Why do you doubt each promise God has made?

By living the life of one who’s afraid?

Let me be upfront and say that when I was given the Scripture text to read, I saw absolutely no correlation between that and the verse previously quoted, of the poem which was so forcibly dictated to me. Nevertheless, I give you all I have received thus far. This I believe and know beyond any doubt and it is that God is working His purpose out, Big Time.

I am taken to Luke 11: 19, where Jesus is responding to some nasty, slanderous, evil words spoken about Him, after He has just done a mighty Work of helping someone.

Now, if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.

These critics of Jesus, are those who simply cannot take His Way, His Style and His Free Manner. People love Him dearly and this angers those with structure, learning, form, tradition and pure law. They are using their words to really get Jesus down – what foolish people - thinking that if they get Him on the good He is doing, they will break Him.

Jesus hears and knows all that these ‘totally blind’ enemies are saying and He ensures that He turns it all back on them.

Then it gets very personal and I quote from my morning school with Jesus.

Do you know whose you are and from whence your strength comes? Then know some facts about those who will hate you and despise you, those who do not see you as themselves, because your words are not as theirs. As long as Law governs thought and actions, there will always be a standing problem with those who are governed by Love. It will always be so, for Law and Love cannot unite. There is therefore no chance even, of Law and Love uniting to bear any fruit, to either.

Jesus remains the enemy of those who are trained and kept in Law. Here is a fact. From the vantage point of Law, anyone who is driven by the Power of Love, must seem as a fake and fraud. Today, these followers of Law see the work Jesus has done and say that He is only able to do this work, because of the demonic powers He possesses. Says Jesus most confidently and with His head held high. If then I am of the evil one and the prince of demons is My strength and Source of power, then let your own people be your judges.

Jesus shows up their ignorance and folly, when He plainly speaks this truth to them. You see, this power work that I have done, is to save a soul from the bondage and slavery of Beelzebub. If I have just freed someone from evil, how can I be going against the rule and reign of the evil one?
