It’s Resurrection Sunday!
Hallelujah!
Jesus Lives!
Our praises we lift high, not with our voices only, but with our lives, as we truly know resurrection responses in our Risen Lord, Jesus.
May I quote what was written on the final day of Holy Week, as we looked towards Resurrection Week?
“As long as you and I are as little children, our lives, branches in the True Vine, and temples of the Holy Spirit, will live praises to God. It is through our lives of praise that God has ordained a stronghold against His enemies, and ours as well, to silence every foe and avenger.”
This question was then asked. “Is this not true in Resurrection Power?”
On this most wonderful, powerful and absolutely magnificent Day of Miracle, we commemorate, in living, brilliant colour, Resurrection. Without Resurrection, Jesus’ miracle Birth and His miracle Life would have all been to a dead end, a miserable waste. But Hallelujah! Jesus died and He rose again!
Let us receive this truth from three different, reliable sources.
Reliable Source 1
The Scriptures - The Word of God
The Jews asked Jesus, What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this? Jesus answered them, Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days. They replied, It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days? But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. John 2: 18b – 22.
This is the Infallible Word of God. – The Scriptures. We hear and believe.

The Scriptures - The Word of Jesus
Peter has just been given revelation and has declared that Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus then orders His disciples not to tell anyone that He is the Messiah.
From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Matthew 16: 21.
This is the Indelible Word of Jesus – The Scriptures. We trust and accept.
Reliable Source 3
The Scriptures – The Word of the Holy Spirit
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 8: 11
This is the Infallible Word of the Holy Spirit – The Scriptures. We receive and live.
Today, we can celebrate the undeniable Word, resurrection, of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in our lives, for we too can say, my life has been resurrected in Jesus.

For the rest of this week, which I call, Resurrection Week, we shall be dealing with resurrection marvels and wonders – how the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, impacts our lives today.
