We come together with one heart and mind, about our Heavenly Father. We know and do believe this to be His true and perfect nature, because we are “above ground,” and are able to share in this offering of our Lord’s given Word.

Let us continue to be mindful that having the privilege of seeing another day, brings great good for some and great bad for others, in this way. Will you accept it like this? God has given every single person this free gift of another day and each one of us is responsible for her or his response to Father God’s free gift. Each of us either gives thanks and shows gratitude to our Heavenly Father, by pleasing Him, or we show ingratitude and hostility towards Him. If we take His gift of a new day, His gift of life and use it to do what is evil in His sight, regardless of who we think we are, we will receive His wrath.

On the other hand, if we take His gift of a new day, His gift of life and use it to do what is pleasing in His sight, regardless of who we think we are, we will receive His bountiful blessings. Do you know what Romans 2: 9 – 11 states? Listen! May we receive hearing ears and a responsive mind and spirit from the Holy Spirit. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

We are also reminded in Deuteronomy 10: 17, of the Supremacy of God and the fact that because He is the One Supreme and the One LORD, there is no need for Him to take sides or favour one above the other for any gain. He is LORD! For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

Stand in awesome fear therefore, because neither you, I, nor any other, regardless of who we are, or how others deem us, have been the recipient of any favouritism by Father God.

In this light we continue to view, acknowledge and honour our God for who He is.
