Miracle of Birth In Your Small Corner, Continued

Without any ado, we jump straight into where you are in your small corner. Sometimes you think of yourself as being stuck, and staked out in your little corner. You feel trapped and want to burst free from the same old, day in and day out routine. You may even be feeling that your corner is closing in on you and you want out.

Neither Joseph nor Mary asked to be given the guardianship of the Living Word to be born and shown to the world. Neither have you asked the Lord to put His Living Word in you, to be shown to the world.

As God has chosen to put His Light with them, so that through them the world will see and receive His Light, so too with you. The Lord has chosen to place His Living Light in you, so that the world will see His Light through you.

As God has orchestrated and directed His coming, Immanuel, to be in Joseph’s small corner, in the little town of Bethlehem, know this for you also. God has shown the entire world, the merit and miracle of that which He ordains, orchestrates and overseers in you, in your small corner, called home. God has given you the miracle of the Birth of His Word in you, right there, at home.

The Good News of help and healing for you today is simple, sure and true. Your small corner may very well be the season in which you find yourself at the moment. Is it to be your lot in life from now on? Is it that you have had no choice but to revert to some place from which you have long moved away, be it economically, emotionally, physically or even spiritually? However you see your small or little corner place, remember!

Remember the little town of Bethlehem where Joseph and Mary had to go and stay – a cattle shed.
Remember that it is God who chose to wait for this time of year, to shine His Light – Jesus.
Remember that the miracle of birth is His to give and the coming of His Light first shone in a little corner.
Remember that if He lives in you, Light lives in you and you will shine in the darkness where you are.

Whatever your season, as the New Year marches on, it is your season of merit and miracle. The Lord will ensure that His Son – the Light of the world, born in you, will glow and shine through you. Thank God for His blessing and vindication. Thank Him that in the small corner of your season, His clear, pure Light will shine for someone, lost in the darkness of deceit.
