Jesus Is Our Liberator

God has spoken to His servant Moses about His people. Moses is the person whom God has used to deliver His people from bondage, hardship, oppression and a life of pure misery. And the LORD said to me, I have seen this people, and they are a stiff-necked people indeed! Deuteronomy 9: 13

Please note these facts about Father, Sovereign God, as He speaks to Moses, His people’s successfully victorious liberator.

God is not speaking to Moses about a strange people, foreigners or even enemies.
God is not speaking about people He does not know. He’s talking about His own people, the people whom He has just saved from the power under whom they were slaves.
God is not speaking about His people in bondage, but of His people who are enjoying the free life from Egypt’s terror.
God is not speaking about a people who do not know Him. He’s speaking about a people who know Him as a Mighty God, who made a way for them when there was no way and who annihilated their enemies who were coming after them. Whether we care to admit it or not, the reality is that the once feared Pharaoh and his mighty Egyptian army are now dead to them. There is no more fear, anxiety or worry about that enemy.
God is not speaking of a people whose liberation from Pharaoh, He still has to finish. No! Absolutely not! He is speaking of work which has been finished. He has completely, once and for all, destroyed Pharaoh and his army.

I don’t know about you, but my conscience, my mind, my heart will not let me go on, without turning these in on me, on us, on all people who know the saving grace of Jesus, our Liberator and Saviour.

Can each of those listed facts be for us also? Will faith grant us the honesty and the reality to hear, see, know and seek forgiveness? We have received these facts about Father, Sovereign God, as He has spoken to Moses, His people’s successfully victorious liberator.

Will you now note these facts about Father, Sovereign God, as He speaks to Jesus, His people’s successfully victorious Liberator?

God is not speaking to Jesus about a strange people, foreigners or even enemies. He’s speaking about you and me
God is not speaking about people He does not know. He’s talking about His own people, you, me and all people whom He has saved from the sinful powers under which we were helpless slaves.
God is not speaking about you and me in bondage, but of all of us, His people who are living and enjoying the free gift of life, free from the terror of sin, death, the grave and hell.
God is not speaking about any of His children, people who do not know Him. He’s speaking about all of us who know Him and claim Him to be a Mighty God, who made a way for us when there was no way and who annihilated our enemies who were coming after us. Whether we care to admit it or not, the reality is that the once feared Satan and his mighty demonic army are now dead to us. There is no more fear, anxiety or worry about that defeated devil, having power and dominion over us.
God is not speaking of a people whose liberation from sin, death, hell and the grave, He still has to finish. No! Absolutely not! He is speaking of work on the cross, which has been finished. God, Himself, through His One and Only Begotten Son, Jesus, has completely, once and for all, destroyed Satan and his army.
