Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? Acts 2: 8.

Informative Question

When we listen to the question with a more inquiring mind, we note that the question definitely informs us of something that is most unusual, remarkable, unheard of and supernatural even. The bottom line is that we, the hearers, simply think that it is downright impossible for Galileans to be able to speak each of our individual languages, so flawlessly, fluently and fully. “Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?” Listen to what they are hearing. They are hearing and seeing, what I call a HAS combination – senses in tandem – where one does not and cannot work without the other.

The pronoun, them, refers to Galileans, non-natives to Jerusalem, like they, the hearers are themselves. Isn’t this very curious indeed? This crowd of God-fearing Jews are non-natives to Jerusalem also. They are visitors to Jerusalem just like the Galileans are. Yet these God-fearing visitors from places such as Cappadocia, parts of Cyrene, Asia, Egypt, Rome – all over the world really – are bringing generic, stereotyping to God-fearing followers of Jesus the Nazarene. What is more, not all of them asking the question are Jews. Many are converts to Judaism, yet they are looking at people from Galilee, not all Jews either, nonetheless disciples of Jesus, who have given their lives to Jesus, and whose prophesying in the Spirit, is a bothersome puzzle to them.

This Informative question comes into being, or is formulated because of the Holy Ghost. This is what Holy Ghost prophesying is all about, where hearing and speaking go hand in hand. There is HAS power.

So what are we to hear and see even now? What is our unmitigated learning of truth? It is that when the Abiding Holy Ghost gives you speaking, be sure that He will give hearing. Know this for sure, when Jesus says go, fish, throw out your nets on the right side, be it known that fish are there waiting for you to catch them. When Jesus says, go, speak, and prophesy, be it known that there are ears waiting to hear the Word of God.

Come Holy Ghost,
You are our Most,
Send us to the lost,
Whatever the cost.
Amen!

Tomorrow we shall be instructed on more.
