Healing In Remembering

Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? Mark 8: 17b – 18 NKJV

These questions were asked at the end of yesterday’s discourse. Where then are you in this? Where then am I in this? This, all refers to the mind and thoughts of Jesus’ disciples, about not having sufficient bread with them on their journey. Let me quote a paragraph from yesterday’s receiving.

“These disciples have with them, in their midst, their miracle working Master, who is able to feed one thousand hungry people with one loaf of bread. Now here they are, with one loaf of bread among twelve of them and they are concerned about having forgotten to bring bread. This is worse than an insult to Jesus their Master."

It truly must be an insult to Jesus, casting Him as some incompetent, powerless, and incapable Master and Lord. When I was told of my behaviour, how I became so spiritually disoriented, when I heard about Jesus telling us that He would heal us in His time, and like good obedient children, we should ask for healing from our Great, Powerful Doctor and leave His Presence still sick, until He is ready to heal, I was brought to repentance. My guilty feeling was none, but the yeast of lawfulness.

Jesus, who knew the hearts and thoughts of His disciples, also knows your heart and thoughts and my heart and my thoughts. He saw that my guilt was simply because the person I was hearing was a lawfully, accredited, appointed shepherd and minister of God. Lawfulness and respect would not have me, an unschooled, untrained and non-ordained sheep, say nay to a schooled, trained and ordained minister, particularly in religious matters. Our Lord showed me how easily I can be trapped by the yeast of law and not hold fast to Him. Jesus’ desire is that we stop looking at what is or is not lawful, according to human learning and understanding and keep our born-again, spiritual selves, fixed on Him.

Something has come to me, something which I have just glanced at in passing, but to which I have not ever given much thought. Now, will you ponder these also?

When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up? They said to Him, Twelve. Jesus asked them a specific number-question and wanted a specific number-answer from them. They knew the exact number, because they were the ones who took up the leftovers or fragments. When I listen to them tell Jesus, twelve, I remember that they themselves, the disciples of Jesus who were with Him then, are the same twelve, who are with Him now, in the boat. What does our Jesus want us to know? What did He want them to know? Our Master and Teacher told me this Word, which had me and still has me utterly surrendered to Him, in love and more sweet love. This is what I was told.

The Twelve baskets, full of broken pieces of bread, show that I do not just feed those from outside who come to Me. The mystery is that included in the miracles I work, is food for My own. The satisfying bread I give to My disciples to feed the people waiting to be fed, is the same bread with which I feed My own. I break loaves, thank My Heavenly Father for them, break them into pieces and feed the hungry people. They are relieved of any hunger in My presence. As good servants, after the people have eaten and are satisfied, I feed My own with the same satisfying, blessed, miracle bread. I want all My disciples to know that they are never left out, for I feed them sumptuously also.

Then, as if it were the icing on the cake, this Word came with the Lord’s sweet embrace. He told me that each disciple was given an entire basket, full of His Blessed Bread. Did you have that? Have you ingested it? We do not have to worry about any Spiritual food whatsoever, for Jesus works His miracles in such a way that we receive an abundance of fragments. I tell you, when I heard that, I felt not just loved, but totally embraced and fully taken by our Master’s precious and sweet love.

But that still was not all. From there, with a mind and heart full of the truth of Jesus, the Present and Powerful Miracle Worker, I was shown, with no doubts whatsoever, the clear answer to the question posed on the first day of the week. Is Jesus still the same Healer He was in Bible days?

Jesus is not just alive, but He is present with us all the time. He has not lost any of His powers to do any and all kinds of miracles. He is able to heal as He did in Bible times. Jesus’ work has not changed, since He died and rose from the dead. He is still the same Lord Jesus who heals and sets people free from their bondage.

Our eyes, ears, tongues and feet of faith have been healed instantly, from any maladies, unwanted and injurious spirits and most dreaded of all, any ‘yeast’ that would keep us far away from the truth of who Jesus is to us, right now. With healing in His wings, God, the Holy Spirit has brought us once again to listen to John, the Baptist. John had sent two of his disciples to Jesus with a question about whether or not they should be looking for another Jesus. If at all, there are those receiving this, who feel inclined, because of the new thinking and new ways, coming in to corrupt and make worldlier, the One True Way, listen! Listen and be guided by the Living Word Himself.

Jesus answered and said to them, Go and tell John what you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me. Matthew 11: 4 – 6 NKJV

Blessed are you, if you are not offended in the truth that Jesus is still the same Healer He was in Bible days.

Hallelujah!
