This is the final Lord’s Day Sunday in the month of April, the month which I love to call our, Resurrection Month, as it is the time when we remember and celebrate our Loving Lord’s Crucifixion and Resurrection. In faith, trust and undeniable hope, we end this most precious month, fully outfitted with renewed faith, trust and hope in our Risen and Victorious Jesus.

On this first day of a New week, but the final day of our Resurrection Month, be conscious that you can have a resurrected, sparkling, powerfully bold and shouting, New Life Banner. It is one which publishes for all to see, how God’s work, whatever the ministry to which you and I have been called, brings bright honour and brilliant glory to God our Heavenly Father.

I’m quite sure that, like me, you also want to end our Resurrection Month and begin a new month, with the victory word and works, which our Lord, Master and Leader has convincingly and completely won, for us. Only when, by faith we truly accept and believe what Jesus has done for us, we who were under the curse of sin, will we be totally submitted to Him in all that we are, all that we have and all that we hope to receive. By faith we believe and live the power of the victory of Christ Jesus, through God’s Will, whereby, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10: 10b.

Jesus won victory over the powers of sin, death, hell and the grave. He is King Jesus, of whom the heavenly angels are proud to sing their song; Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! Revelation 5: 12.

Worthy is our Saviour and Lord.

And so we pray;

Risen, Conquering Lord, we glorify Your Matchless Name and give You every praise. We say thanks for all that You have already given and done for us, and continue to give and do for us. Amen!

For the rest of this week, fully clad with renewed trust, faith and hope, we offer our hearts, minds and wills to our worthy, Risen Lord to receive His strength, wisdom and understanding that we may be His fruitful servants to the Father’s honour and glory.

Here is our not too familiar text.

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8: 23.

Thanks be To God.
