Faithful and Ever Living Word

As I have been doing for the past weeks, I am being kept faithful and zealous to share some of these invaluable life treasures with you. As promised, I shall offer these treasures from our Lord, given a decade ago. This will last for God’s faithfulness lasts. I have revisited meditations, devotions and quiet times which I have had with our Lord, in 2013.

I ask you candidly, you with whom I have previously shared some of these, ten years ago, are they not fresh and new today, as they were all those years ago? Is anything stale and dead to you? Has any word become obsolete and useless to you in this time, ten years on? Is not the Word of the Lord, forever true and the routes He takes, beyond finding or tracing out?

Now I ask all who have been reading these for the first time. Is anything irrelevant for our times? Is there something, one thing even, which is totally irrelevant to us as God’s children in a different age and space? Is there any word which you have heard or read, that you will say was perfect for God’s children in Bible times, however, it is definitely out-of-date and not needed for us, His children, in modern times? Is not the word of God timeless, as God is timeless and He is His Living Word? Jesus Himself has publicly announced this fact. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Matthew 24: 35.

It is in the faithfulness of God and His words that we continue to receive. We keep receiving, knowing full well that the end of the month of Celebrating God’s Faithfulness over a decade, gently and firmly guided by our Holy Spirit, will continue to bring, renewal and refreshing, in ways most unfathomable.

Blessed, enabled, empowered and energized by the Holy Spirit, we have surrendered to His ROUTE, the renewed, open, unbiased, trusting, embracing, giving over of each heart and mind. We have been so convicted and convinced, many of us have been brought low before the faithfulness of our ever present and ever working God. Let us faithfully continue, by faith and trust, to walk God’s chosen route for our lives. Only with spiritual feet, will we be able to continually have daily access to the abundant treasures of our lavishly giving God.

For the next three days, I will bring you treasures from 2013, which come through Abram, our father of faith. Our God is Forever Faithful. Let us unswervingly celebrate Him, in Abram’s life and in ours also. The ROUTE takes us down four steps. Our source of receiving is from Genesis 12: 10 – 20.

STEP 1 GOD IN OUR DOWN TIMES

Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe. Genesis 12: 10. We note this as his DOWN step. This is the step he made, which led him to a place that was not of his beliefs, customs, faith and thinking. It is also a step which many of us would call a bad move, a wrong decision, a downward step. However, due to the faithfulness of God, this step was not to Abram’s downfall. Will you also know that not every down step which you have to make is to your downfall? Where are you at the moment? Whatever has driven you to take that step, which may not be the best move you have made, is not beyond the reach of your Heavenly Father’s faithfulness to you.
