On this final day of the week, a most exposing and inspiring week of realizing, recognizing and embracing the prayer posts provided, we have come to the final one. The fourth and final prayer post in our freedom to COME, is our Embodiment. We have heeded the Call and have accepted the Offering. We honestly and truly have the Manner of a thankful heart. Now we receive God’s Embodiment of His Peace.

And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.

To be embodied in peace, that which is far beyond any human understanding, calls for faith, without doubting. Peace brings calm of heart and mind. Peace brings assurance and gives encouragement in our God. We have received the Call, Offering, Manner, EmbodimentCOME – in our freedom to live the truth of our text.

Father, I know Your COME, for I have heard Your Call, to not worry. I have received Your Offering me the freedom to come to You and ask for what I need, to free me of worry. I have come in the Manner that pleases You, for my heart is truly thankful. You have Embodied me with Your amazing, unsurpassed peace. Father, am I one in unbelief because worry is still my companion or am I one pleasing You? Your Word has brought me to COME, to know that worry can no longer be my companion.

O heavenly Father, may Your Holy Spirit teach me in prayer, for I believe that I do not have to be worried about anything. Thank You for the promises of prayer. Thank You for Your peace, which is far beyond my human understanding. Thank You that Your peace, is able to keep and will keep my heart and mind safe in union with Christ Jesus Amen!

DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO WORRY?

As the mountainous storm brings worry, stress and strain,
And it looks as if your faith in the Lord is vain,
When your life-boat has been tossed and lashed by the storm,
A vicious, faith-threatening storm that’s not the norm,
You become sore afraid and worry takes over,
There seems to be no port where you can take cover,
How can you speak to your mountain, in deadly fear?
Your faith’s growing weaker, how will your mountain hear?
Worry takes over and becomes your present guide,
The accuser comes, your faith in God to deride;
Your once anchored faith is no longer holding strong,
Too ferocious is the storm that has come along,
Now it’s all built into a worrisome mountain,
A giant of a blocker, your faith can’t sustain,
Jesus the Man sees your tenuous position,
And in His wisdom offers you this solution,
A word of sound advice, a word of reasoning,
What good does it do you when you keep worrying?
If you can’t add an hour to your life at best,
Does it make sense in worrying about the rest?
If worry is deprived and starved, it will grow weak,
Ensure this through prayer, as the Lord you ask and seek,
Be unwavering in belief, stubborn in prayer,
Be watchful in thankfulness that He your prayers hear.
Amen!
