Continuing In God's Faithfulness

On this final Lord’s Day Sunday in the month of August, you have celebrated and continue to celebrate with me, the Lord’s faithfulness. I had invited you to share with me a month of revisiting and renewing. Indeed, you all do know and can testify personally, in big and small ways, of the unrelenting faithfulness of God. My confidence is that all who love the Lord and are alive to see this final Lord’s Day in our special month of celebrating God’s faithfulness, will not hesitate, deviate or procrastinate in zealously publishing and proclaiming these facts.

We are bold, like Moses, to spread these truths about our God.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91: 4.

The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Exodus 34: 6b

Indeed, God has been faithful to you and to me, in receiving again, what is not new for me and many, yet new for others. Whether new or not, have not all these treasures been a source of vital enrichment, needed energizing and welcome relief? Having the privilege to be alive and taken back to where one was a decade ago and be taken through paths and places of learning, in a most thankful, humbled and completely Spirit-fed and Spirit-led way, is treasure in itself.

We have come to the final closing days of the month of August, as this week takes us to the final day in the month and ushers us into the first day of the new month. This is big, for it is not just a new month but for many, young ones and older ones, it is the beginning of new things, new ventures, new places, new positions and new opportunities. Whatever the new month will offer you, know that you can face it because of the faithfulness of God.

During this fast ending month of August, many of us spent long moments reflecting, reminiscing, remembering and receiving fresh strength and resolve as daily we were made to distinctly, vividly and clearly see the faithfulness of Father God in our lives, a decade ago and continuing on this day also. In these past weeks, I am sure that you were unable to contain much of what you remembered of God’s faithfulness in your life, to yourself. In many different ways, using your life as living proof and testimony, you have celebrated and are still celebrating the Faithfulness of God in no hushed and secret manner. You are the evidence of our Heavenly Father’s Faithfulness and you are constrained to publish Him, through every experience. Though not in calculated or even measure, you have no fear or hesitancy in proclaiming your Lord’s faithfulness in the sunshine and the rain; the laughter and the tears; the joys and sorrows; the rough and easy times of your life.

You will agree with me, that in telling of God’s faithfulness with you as a living testimony, you have received nothing short of healing and wholeness. I know and believe it to be factual, for I have and still am experiencing untold healing and wholeness in areas I never even realized were broken and unpleasing to our Father. What about you? Truly, our Heavenly Father has been faithful in all things.

We celebrate You Father, for You are True, Faithful and Trustworthy. We worship You with our very being, because there is no other God like unto You. We honour, respect and revere You, for You alone are worthy. Thank You for taking us through this ROUTE, Holy Spirit, and ever keep our hearts and minds fixed on You. Amen!
