All New: All You

What a privilege! What an honour! What a most humbling, yet overflowing pleasure is ours that our Heavenly Father has chosen you and me to see the first Lord’s Day Sunday in this precious new month.
Nevertheless, in acknowledging our Heavenly Father’s goodness to us, let us remember all people, some we may not know and others we may know – perhaps dear loved ones and friends – for whom God has also chosen to bring to Him at this time. The goodness of God to those of us who are alive, is also for those who are not alive today, as we are. Always remember that God is good and His goodness extends to all His children, whether we live or we die.
How are we able to say this in bold unconditional faith? We can speak boldly if we truly believe the Word of God, as offered to us through His Spirit-bought and Spirit-taught servant, Paul, the Apostle. In thinking about Romans 14: 7 - 8, we will give thanks to God for His unprecedented and most singular, human-free wisdom. Listen to Paul and what most of us can recite by heart. For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
It is with singularly, thankful hearts that, acknowledging God’s grace, we are here today, to see, not just the first Lord’s Day in a new month, but we have been left here on this earth, to see the beginning of the first week in a brand new month.
My friends – brothers and sisters in Jesus - this privilege comes with responsibility. The undivided responsibility for all of us who believe and claim God as our Father in Heaven, is to serve, honour, acknowledge and publish His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. He is Jesus, the One and Only, Way, Truth, Life. Everything that we think, speak and do, must bear perfect witness to Jesus. How is this possible for fickle human beings as we are? Only through our giving over of all we are and have – every bit of self – to the Holy Ghost, so that He will take full control in our lives and lead us aright.
Beware! Be warned! Never think that it is impossible for this to be fulfilled in you, because you are only human. To think that way, is to speak that way and to speak like that, is to act in that manner. Do you realise that each time you speak those negative words, you totally cancel and make of nought, the Power of the Holy Ghost to work His supernatural works in you? Do you know that you are gainsaying what our Lord has spoken? To hold up any human frailty or weakness before our Creator God, is highly dishonouring of Him, the Most High God.
For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared. A great King over all the earth. Psalm 47: 2 ESV
I leave you to ponder this all, until, we meet tomorrow, Deo Volente (DV).
