Why

On this Second Lord’s Day Sunday in October we come with deeply grateful hearts to our Heavenly Father for not just keeping us through to this time, but for granting us opportunities for change. We are especially thankful to our Holy Spirit, who has never once left us alone, refusing to help us in our hours of need. We lift His Name high for He has done, is doing and will continue to do the works our Lord Jesus said He would do. In addition to all that He does He has been convicting us in our ways of living, which are opposed to what Jesus has offered us.
Some convictions are really stinging, don’t you agree? But I have learnt and still am learning that as awful as some convictions may be, it is the grace and mercy of God, to save us from a life without Him.
Today, we are spoken to, through a poem that asks, “Why?” I offer you this poem for two main reasons. One is that it steers our minds to some heavy self-examination and self-evaluation, which either brings us to be honest or dishonest about ourselves. The other reason is that it sets the tone for the rest of the week.

WHY?
